Our Production Facilities
Alternatif Tarim Inc. is one of Turkey’s most important organic soil conditioner producers with its modern production facilities and extensive machinery park.
Before the production phase, the general characteristics of our country’s soils were learned from study works carried out by universities and scientific institutions, taking into account the latest developments in Turkey and the world. Taking these study works into account, it was decided to produce fertilizers in accordance with effective and sustainable agriculture philosophy in semi-arid and arid region climates.
Natural fertilizers suitable for climate and regional soils have been produced so that the produced fertilizers are not fixed in the soil, are not washed away, and their effects on the soil are long-lasting. As mentioned above, these fertilizers are prepared taking into account the health of the soil, as well as the animals and humans who will be fed with the products to be produced from these soils. For this purpose, an R&D laboratory has been established under the supervision of 1 professor, 1 associate professor and 3 agricultural engineers. In addition, the detailed scientific research of the proposed project has been supported by many doctoral and master’s theses and scientific studies, especially from Çukurova University Faculty of Agriculture Soil and Horticulture departments, Ege University Horticulture, and Gazi Osman Paşa University Soil departments.
Production Technology
The basic principles of production technology:
- All products have been tested by universities in greenhouse and field conditions.
- All products consist of very special organic substrates.
- They do not contain chemical substances.
- Their effects are long-lasting (2-10 years).
- They are produced with high technological methods and will also be patented.
- They are not washed and fixed like fertilizers produced with old technologies.
- They are environmentally friendly preparations that do not contain harmful substances to soil or water.
- Although they contain high amounts of microelements, they do not harm the plant in any way.

Alternatif Tarim Inc. produces from its own pumice quarries. With a bed reserve of 1 billion cubic meters, it is among the most important pumice producers not only in Turkey but also in the world.
